About

Zoe Litaker is a photographer focusing on human performance, movement, and environment. She partners with athletes, artists, museums, and environmental organizations to capture the dynamic relationship between people and the landscapes through which they move.
She holds a BFA in Photography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has pursued additional studies at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and the International Center of Photography in New York. She is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers.
Selected clients include Jessamyn Stanley, Willow Bend Environmental Education Center, Momentum Aerial, ShaLeigh Dance Works, North Carolina Dance Festival, Walden University, and Duke University’s Department of Latino/a Studies in the Global South. Her work has been featured in Scalawag Magazine, Indy Week, Forbes, and ESPNW.
Her published work includes the photo book 30 Portraits for 30 Years, a photographic series created in collaboration with the North Carolina Dance Festival, and three independently published books. She has exhibited in group and solo shows at Gallery Mugen (Japan), the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts (Canada), The Fruit Gallery, and the North Carolina Museum of Art (United States).
Based in Flagstaff, Arizona, she is available for editorial and commercial commissions across the Southwest.
